Through V.Planet PCR films, Vitopel makes it possible to reduce the carbon footprint of the product and integrates the use of recycled materials, not only for the secondary packaging market, but also for self-adhesive tags and labels, also promoting excellent performance in labeling items such as drinks, beauty and home care products, with guaranteed traceability of the entire production chain.
Vitopel is certified and able to work with BOPP packaging for contact with food, using resins produced by chemical recycling through pyrolysis. The company complies with regulations such as the FSSC 22000 system, which aims for a safe product, and ISCC Plus, which guarantees its production of films from circular and renewable base resins, with the transparency that the volume of recycled raw material that enters its production process is actually converted into high quality final products, proven via mass balance.
The validation of this innovative packaging structure enriched with post-consumer content (PCR) highlights how technological collaboration can be a crucial vector in overcoming the challenges posed by packaging destined for recycling.
