Sixteen Brazilian companies from the civil construction segment are heading to Expo Ferretera, which will take place from September 5 to 7 in Guadalajara, Mexico. The companies are supported by Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the plastic-converted products sector in the process of internationalization to target markets, and by ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). Think Plastic Brazil is carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil and INP (Brazilian Plastics Institute).
The event is one of the most important trade fairs for the plastics industry in the Americas and brings together companies that produce converted plastics, including those used in civil construction, ironwork items and finishing. In addition, the fair attracts buyers from Latin America, Central America and North America. Mexico, in fact, is a strategic country for Brazil, as it was the 9th main destination for exports of companies supported by Think Plastic Brazil in 2023, totaling more than US$ 11 million in exports.

Among more than a thousand exhibitors, the Think Plastic Brazil stand stands out with the presence of 16 companies associated with the portfolio, which will present their solutions to the market. They are: Afort, Atlas, Condor, Fame, Fischer, Fortlev, Fuminas, Fuplastic, Itacorda, Kapazi, Krona, MarGirius, São Bernardo, Stam, Unipega and Viqua..
Atlas: Since the beginning of its activities in 1966, ATLAS has been a reference in painting and finishing tools. Located in the extreme south of Brazil in Esteio/RS, the company belongs to the InBetta group, delivering products for surface preparation, painting and finishing to the market uninterruptedly since the beginning of its activities.
Fame: FAME’s history began in 1940 and has become one of the largest manufacturers of electric water heaters and electrical equipment in Brazil. The company generates 2,000 direct jobs in its three factories and exports to more than 40 countries. Its main export product is the Electric Shower: genuinely Brazilian, safe, efficient, modern and economical.
Fischer: Fischer confirms its participation in ExpoFerretera, where it will present its product solutions. As the sales leader in ovens and cooktops in Brazil, Fischer will also exhibit its line of products aimed at the construction industry, including wheelbarrows designed to facilitate and optimize work on various projects. MarGirius: Celebrating 75 years in the market, MarGirius will bring to Expo Ferretera 2024 a range of products related to automation, controls and protection, in addition to switches and residential sockets with contemporary design, technology and functionality and the launch of smart products with Wi-Fi connectivity, compatible with virtual assistants and voice command.
São Bernardo: The company earns the respect and trust of consumers around the world by investing in the development of new products and technology, always seeking materials that contribute to the preservation of the environment, in accordance with Brazilian and global market trends.
Unipega: Unipega is dedicated to the formulation and production of a wide range of sealants and adhesives for all types of applications, offering significant benefits in terms of performance and sustainability by producing items with the aim of reducing environmental impact. The company uses technologies that minimize emissions during manufacturing and use.
The Krona Group will be represented at Expo Ferretera by the Krona and Viqua brands.
