Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the plastic-converted products sector in the process of internationalization for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute), has just launched the new edition of the International Yearbook in three languages (Portuguese, Spanish and English).  The guide is part of the project ecosystem of the World Plastic Connection Summit, the main Brazilian meeting with an international focus on the converted plastics sector, carried out by Think Plastic Brazil.

This year’s Yearbook brings together and presents more than 250 Brazilian companies in the converted plastics sector in the following categories: agribusiness, toys and childcare, construction, packaging, supplies and housewares. Readers can learn about and obtain contact information for all the companies listed, according to their business needs.

“The Yearbook represents Think Plastic Brazil’s effort to catalog and make available to the market, in an organized, intuitive and practical way, all associated companies in the Brazilian converted plastics sector. In this way, the Yearbook encourages and facilitates the generation of business for the companies that appear in the publication, which is distributed worldwide,” says Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director & Think Plastic Brazil CPO.

In addition, the Yearbook provides a report on Think Plastic Brazil’s actions in previous years – 2022 and 2023. Among the data from last year (2023), the highlights are the 116 associated companies that conquered new markets, the 19.64% increase in companies that expanded their exports (compared to 2022) and the 38.46% growth in the number of companies that started exporting new products (compared to 2022).

The guide also details the reasons that led to the creation of Think Plastic Brazil and outlines a timeline since its creation in 2003.
