In March, Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the plastic-converted products sector in the internationalization process for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute), landed in Chicago, in the United States, with a group of 21 associated Brazilian companies.
Alklin, Bettanin, Di Solle Cutelaria, Floridis & Verdi, Indústria Bandeirante, Jaguar Plásticos, Kapazi Mats & Flooring, Kos Acrílicos, Mello, MTA, Nitron, Nutriplan, <OU>, Plasnew, Plasútil, Plasvale, Sanremo S/A, São Bernardo, Simonaggio, Soprano and Termolar were the brands that participated in the 2025 edition of The Inspired Home Show.
From the fair onwards, more than 186 contacts were established, with 247 meetings held and more than 180 thousand dollars in negotiated values achieved, in four agreements closed so far. For the next 12 months, 59 new deals are expected, with the prospect of generating more than US$2,605,000.00. Companies leave the event registering 80% positive evaluation, between very satisfied and satisfied, according to the post-fair survey conducted by Think Plastic Brazil.
This satisfaction data from companies is also reflected in their interest in returning to the event: 65% have already stated that they would return in the next edition, while 30% still do not know. The Inspired Home Show is one of the main global showcases for the home products and utilities sector and took place between March 2nd and 4th, with the launch of trends and innovations in home utilities, decoration, electronics, stationery, childcare and organization, highlighting sustainability, technology and lifestyle, involving lectures, panels and workshops in the program.
“Brazil stands out abroad. When we talk about innovation, design, technology and sustainability, we are not at fairs just to learn from what is being done in other countries, but also to position Brazilian products as a reference for the world. Day after day we are expanding our results in exported products and in opening new markets, reaping the fruits of this effort where internationalization increases our production”, points out Carlos Moreira, INP executive director and Think Plastic Brazil CPO.
The Brazilian space also featured Color Trend® 2025, with the theme “The Truth of the Dream,” curated by architect Gabriela de Matos, Yearbook 2024, a digital catalog with more than 250 Brazilian companies, and the announcement of the IV World Plastic Connection Summit®, the main international meeting focused on the converted plastics sector in Latin America. Held between April 8 and 10, in São Paulo, at Novotel Center Norte, with the theme “Converted plastic from Brazil: coloring the world with design, innovation and sustainability,” in a hybrid and free format, the event featured renowned speakers from the sector and featured the launch of Color Trend® 2026, signed by Marcelo Rosenbaum, and the International Yearbook 2025, an updated catalog of companies associated with Think Plastic Brazil.
