Special actions expand results at the Inspired Home Show 2023

The 28 companies specializing in converted plastic products for Housewares that presented their products at The Inspired Home Show fair (#TIHS2023 Chicago, March 4-7, 2023), in the institutional spaces of Think Plastic Brazil and Brinox, which participated at the event with its own booth, recorded together a result of $541,000 in sales, originating from 329 business meetings, with the expectation of reaching another $D4 million in the next 12 months.

The coordination of the three Brazilian islands at the event was conducted by Think Plastic Brazil (Portfolio of Solutions for the Export and Internationalization of Brazilian Converted Plastics), created by INP (Brazilian Plastics Institute) in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

For the first time since the beginning of Brazilian participation in the event, Brazilian companies were divided between the North (N7341 and N7140) and South (S1641) pavilions. The attending companies were Alklin, Alumínio Oliveira, Arthi, Crippa, Floridis, Indústria Bandeirante, Jaguar Plásticos, Kos, Lolly, Martiplast, Maxeb, Metaltru, Nitronplast, Plasnew, Plasútil, Plasvale, Poly Play, Sanremo, Santa Maria, São Bernardo, Simonaggio, Soprano, Termolar, Tiba – Igaratiba, UZ Utilidades, Vasap Design, Vasart, and Vouga Indústria e Comércio. Brinox participated in an individual booth at S3454.

Special actions conducted included the exhibition of items in the colors of Color Trend 2023, produced by Alexandre Herchcovitch. Items were selected by the companies themselves and distributed among exhibitors at the Global Design Point and in the three pavilions set up by Think Plastic Brazil.

As the standard practice at international fairs supported by the portfolio, an exclusive Yearbook was created for the event, indicating the exhibitors. The material was available for download through QR Codes printed on the walls of the event, remaining available to interested parties through this link.

Partnership with the Consulate General of Brazil in Chicago

Three days before the start of The Inspired Home Show Chicago, Think Plastic Brazil promotion actions were already in full swing. The team met on that date with representatives of the Consulate General of Brazil in Chicago, presenting the schedule of activities before and during the fair, as well as on the World Plastic Connection Summit, scheduled to take place in São Paulo on August 21-24. Trending Today

For the second time, Brazilian companies participated in Trending Today, an exhibition of products and companies selected by the fair’s curators, based on the At Home Entertainment trend. The event was limited to 60 companies and was exclusive to buyers and the press, taking place on March 4 in an exclusive room for the event.

The approved companies were: Martiplast <OU>, Plasútil,, Poly Play, Sanremo, Santa Maria, Vasap Design, and Vouga Decor.

Retail Tour and Promenade

In addition to the exhibition at the fair, companies associated with Think Plastic Brazil were given a tour guide to the main benchmarks for Housewares in Chicago, enabling a market analysis known as the Retail Tour. They were also taken on a guided tour of the fair called the Promenade.

Pantone Colorwatch Display

In addition to the exhibition of the color trends studied in Brazil for the world, Brazilian companies were selected to compose the Pantone Colorwatch Display, a display of pieces in the colors defined as trends by the company in a decorated environment. The approved companies were: Igaratiba, Plasutil, UZ Utilidades, Vasart, and Vouga Decor.
