The strategic partnership between Think Plastic Brazil and Drummond Advisors is intensifying actions aimed at the internationalization of companies in the converted plastics sector in Brazil. Both companies have in their portfolio solutions aimed at promoting the internationalization of companies. With over 20 years of experience, Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the plastic-converted products sector in the process of internationalization for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (Brazilian Plastics Institute), has already secured over 4,700 participations from Brazilian companies in 240 trade promotion projects. At the same time, Drummond is focused on enabling the internationalization of companies, with offices in Boston, Orlando, Miami, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte.
The joining of forces between the initiatives resulted in practical actions for the internationalization of companies in the Brazilian converted plastic sector, such as the Internationalization Journey, which is being held online and free of charge for Think Plastic Brazil members. The program is aimed at companies in the sector that aim to expand their commercial operations beyond Brazil.
According to Marcelo Carrullo, partner at Drummond, all of this partnership work aims to broaden the horizon of knowledge for Think Plastic Brazil associates on these issues and demystify the processes of unloading operations in the United States. “We are very excited about the partnership and the opportunity to contribute to this sector of great relevance to the national and global economy,” he says.
“One of the major actions of the partnership is the Internationalization Journey, an innovative educational program designed specifically for companies in the plastics sector that seek to expand their commercial horizons beyond national borders, covering everything from the initial export phase to the opening of plants abroad or the expansion of existing operations,” concludes Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director & Think Plastic Brazil CPO.
The Internationalization Journey consists of 12 classes that promote a constructive debate about internationalization, strengthening the capabilities of companies in the plastics sector to expand their commercial horizons. The schedule and content of the classes were defined in an in-depth exchange between Drummond and Think Plastic Brazil, so that the Journey would meet all the specificities of the converted plastics market in the country.
